Audi has stamped its dominance on the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS field at Sydney Motorsport Park this morning.
Brendan Leitch was too good for the field in the first session, before Brad Schumacher scorched the pack in the second.
The pair both claimed the Pirelli pole awards after the tense qualifying battles.
After times were combined to sort the order for the Superpole, ity was the combination of Schumacher and Will Brown that had the fastest aggregated time, ahead of Leitch and his team-mate Tim Miles.
Ferrari championship leaders Liam Talbot and Chaz Mostert were third fastest on combined times, and hence will be the third last car to venture onto the track for the all important Superpole later this afternoon.
In the AM Class ranks, class leaders Mike Shergold and Garth Walden were the fastest on average and have made the Superpole. They have provisionally qualified 10th.
