Arise Racing GT and Ram Motorsport top practice two

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS’ second practice session for Friday’s action saw a pair of different entries lead their classes respectively after an intense one-hour session.

Chaz Mostert and Liam Talbot ended the session on top, with the Arise Racing GT stars topping the session in their Ferrari 296 GT3 - their 1:26.4654 just under three tenths faster the next best ranked duo in Jayden Ojeda and Paul Lucchitti.

The Tigani Motorsport/Realta Mercedes AMG GT3 of Ojeda and Lucchitti ended the session splitting the two Ferraris, with Jaxon Evans and Elliot Schutte just one and a half tenths off Lucchitti.

In the Am class, Sergio Pires and Marcel Zalloua went fastest for the session, posting a 1:29.0143 in their Valmont Racing / Tigani Motorsport Audi R8 LMS Evo 11 to edge out the Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO of Ram Motorsport’s Garth Walden and Michael Sheargold.

The Championship now turns its attention to a super Saturday at Sydney Motorsport Park, with Qualifying, Superpole and the highly anticipated three-hour endurance race making up tomorrow’s activity.
