Want to get up close and personal to the title combatants of Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS?
Well, those situated in Brisbane can at the Shannons Supercar Showcase this Saturday. The event will take place at the Shannons Showroom situated at Eagle Farm featuring a range of exotic, performance road models and the racing equivalent of some.
Headlining the display will be the two Arise Racing GT Ferrari 296 GT3s and the rival Triple Eight Race Engineering Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
The 296 is the latest in GT3 technology having achieved victory in the Nurburgring 24 Hour last year during its maiden season and Arise Racing GT returned Ferrari to the winner’s circle in Australia on debut at Phillip Island in April.
Both 296 GT3s driven by current series leaders Liam Talbot and Chaz Mostert, in addition to Elliott Schutte and Jaxon Evans will be on display.
Arise Racing GT has crossed from Perth to complete a test at Queensland Raceway ahead of the Shannons SpeedSeries event at the venue on August 2-4.
Sponsored by ROMEO Software, Triple Eight Race Engineering’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo is spearheaded this season by Peter Hackett and Declan Fraser as the pair tasted victory at The Bend’s opening race.
GT4 will also be represented in the form of Method Motorsport’s two McLaren Arturas, which secured a win at The Bend.
Exotic road variants representing a range of marques will be on display alongside two Shannons professional simulators from Next Level Racing where attendees can pit themselves against a benchmark time around Queensland Raceway to win small prizes.
