Harrolds Pole Award introduced for Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS

The pole sitters in both the Championship Pro-Am and Am classes of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS will compete for the Harrolds Pole Award.

The fastest Championship Pro-Am and Am entry in qualifying this weekend will receive a Harrolds $1000 voucher to be used at one of its three stores in Melbourne and Sydney, which will be presented live at 12:40pm live on Stan Sport’s SpeedSeries broadcast.

Harrolds is a fashion institution founded in 1985 on Melbourne’s iconic Collins Street offering a range of more than 100 local and international designer clothing labels.

Expanding from its original store into a Business of Fashion recognised Top 30 Global Menswear Retail Innovator, Harrolds is a family-run enterprise by Managing Directors Mary and Pro-Am driver Ross Poulakis.

Its three stores feature iconic fashion brands and unique range of tailoring ensuring a premium level of customer service, with Harrolds recently expanding through an online store in addition to international shipping.

“Harrolds, Australia’s Luxury Department Store, is proud to partner for the 2022 Pole Awards,” a Harrolds statement said.

“On behalf of Ross Poulakis and the team, we wish all of the participants the best of luck, and to the qualifiers - enjoy a Harrolds shopping experience on us.”

Harrolds’ involvement in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS follows on from the team debuting at Phillip Island where Poulakis was joined by Sam Brabham in a Mercedes-AMG GT4, with it subsequently stepping up to a GT3 specification at Queensland Raceway. This weekend, both entries will compete for the first time together in an expanded program.

Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia’s two 60-minute races will be covered by Stan Sport’s live, uninterrupted and on-demand coverage.
